Course Overview

Following our successful sell-out debut event in April 2018, the annual London Prostate Imaging and Focal Therapy Masterclass is returning in April 2019 for its second conference.

The masterclass provides a space for healthcare professionals that are interested in new diagnostic techniques and minimally invasive approaches to treating prostate cancer. It will showcase how to successfully integrate these technologies and techniques into practice.

The course will continue to focus on teaching practical elements and providing a solid academic foundation of this beneficial modern approach.

This masterclass will be the only European event focusing on this subject in 2019.

Delegates will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on-training events featuring the latest technology provided by industry-leading medical device manufacturers, such as:

  • Basic & Advanced MRI
  • Integrating MRI in Prostate Fusion Biopsy
  • Developing advanced features in focal treatment ablation
  • Focal Therapy simulator with case review
  • Hands on with transperineal biopsy simulators
  • Ultrasound techniques in diagnosing and treatment

The 2 day masterclass will be held in the Sir Alexander Flemming Building of the historic Imperial College London, in its South Kensington Campus. The location is excellently served by some of London's finest amenities and destinations.

The conference rooms look onto Queen's Tower, and elegant green space within the University.

Attendees will be within walking distance of London finest landmarks, resturants and shopping - including Hyde Park, the Albert Memorial and the Royal Albert Hall, as well as visit London's museum district, adjacent, including the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and the V&A.
Delegates will also find themselves moments away from Harrod's within one of London's primary shopping districts, Mayfair

The location is served by South Kensington Underground Station which further extends the range of any delegate who wishes to explore the rest of London.
